Dean Message

Dr. Mahmoud Obaid

Greetings from the Faculty of Engineering at Arab American University.

Engineers, Engineering Technologists, and Engineering Technicians continuously strive to improve the quality of human lives through innovation and improvements. They solve problems through creative thinking and systematic reasoning and development.
At Faculty of Engineering, we shape the future of graduate engineers, technologists, and technicians to become community leaders. This is achieved with the help of state-of-the-art facilities, experienced faculty members, and solid program curricula, all of which fulfill the first pillar of the Human Development Pillar, which calls for “a world-class education system, healthcare system, and an efficient and committed workforce that achieves a competitive labor market enabling the population to participate in development”.
We aim to equip our graduates with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to excel in the job market from their first day of employment. Our approach includes practical applied courses in industrial settings such as laboratories and workshops within the Faculty, as well as the latest technologies to build our graduates' skills and competencies, making them valuable assets to any future employer. Our world-class teaching staff, equipped with the best educational and industrial experience, guide our students through their journey towards success.
The Faculty is also in the process of introducing new applied engineering programs to meet the growing demands of a developing economy and ensure safety. These programs will be distinctive and unique, catering to the local, regional, and international needs for skilled engineers, technologists, and technicians. We are continuously looking ahead to meet future needs.
Finally, I thank you for visiting the Faculty's website, and I look forward to serving and empowering faculty, students, and staff at the Faculty of Engineering to become a leading international example in technical and vocational education.
