The Faculty of Sciences was founded with the establishment of the Arab American University in the year 2000. At that time, it offered the Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and in Mathematics & Statistics.
While, at present, the Faculty of Science offers a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics & Statistics, and Physics. The Faculty also has several minor programs. In addition, it offers a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Physics.
All the academic departments of the Faculty offer service courses to all other faculties in the university.
The Faculty enhances the interdisciplinary cooperation, promotes the cooperation between the academic departments of the Faculty and national and international institutions that are interested in the advancement of education and research. It also facilitates the acquisition of the necessary infrastructure and facilities in all departments of the Faculty for effective teaching and research.
