Signing a MoU with the Palestinian Association of Education for Employment to develop graduates capabilities

With the presence of the Minister of Higher and to strengthen partnership, the university signed a MoU with the Palestinian Association of Education for Employment.

Arab American University signed Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen partnership with the Palestinian Association of Education for Employment, during a ceremony held at the Grand Park Hotel, Ramallah.

Vice President for Social Affairs Dr. Nizam Diab as a representative of the university signed the MoU with Palestinian Association Chairman Engineer Mazen Sinokrot and attended by Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Sabri Saydam.

The MoU aims to strengthen role of the educational institution in planning and implement foundation programs including training for hiring program, “search for work is a work”, entrepreneurship program and other joint programs.

Highlights of the memorandum of understanding (MoU), training and qualifying sttafs working in Alumni Affairs Department or any department related to the university, in addition to present the institutions programs including training p for hiring program, search for work is a work program, entrepreneurship program and attract the university students to participate in the training, planning and implementing joint programs and also follow-up training and know how the target group benefit to achieve the program main objectives.

Vice President of Community Affairs Dr. Diab confirmed the importance of this agreement and its targets; serving graduates who search for work and create a professional bridge with institutions capable of hiring. He said that nearly 600 graduate benefited from the Palestinian Association’s “Education for Employment” exercises during the last three years and that the university decided to design training program to enhance employment skills of its graduates as a result of such exercise feedback it’ll be applied to all graduates of the faculties of Administrative and Financial Sciences and Engineering and Information Technology at the beginning of the next academic year.

Director General of the Palestinian Association for Education for Employment Mr. Saro Nkashian was pleased to sign the agreement with the prestigious educational institution, Arab American University, especially they have collaborated with it training many of its graduates. He described it as positive and constructive experience that his organization looks forward to developing this partnership even further, confirming importance of exchanging experiences between the organization and Palestinian universities.
