Tamayyaz Team at AAUP organized an environmental path in the village of Faquah 11 km north-east from Jenin, the head of the village council Mr. Barakat al-Omari welcomed the students valuing these activities, which contribute to know more about our beauty country and encourage internal tourism.
Al-Omari pointed to the importance places and areas that the tourist’s visit. Giving the students an introductory presentation about the town, the reason for naming the area, the population and what distinguishes this town.
The head of Alumni Affairs Department and the coordinator of the program Mr. Bilal Al Ashqar thanked the Municipality of Faquah for the good reception, pointing out that the aim of the visit is to know the beauty of this town, especially the National Tazhra, "Alsosneh", which is famous for it.
After that, the group started their path in the mountains, as they also participated in a number of training games and cultural events.
TAMAYYAZ is a national strategic program aimed at empowering Palestinian university students by bridging the gap between the university environment of academic theoretical nature and the work environment that requires different kind of skills and practical capabilities required by the labor market, which are constantly changing due to the great acceleration in the Business world.
