The University and Palestinian Education for Employment (Efe) Finishes Two Training Courses Entitled "Looking for Job Is a Job Itself"

Alumni Affairs Dept. at the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Palestinian Education for Employment finishes two training courses entitled “Looking for Job is a Job itself" with the participation of 67 graduate students.

The course, which was distributed on 20 training hours, discussed important topics related to how to search for a job search such as communication skills, ways to writing your CV and cover letter, ways to search for a job, and how to prepare for successful interviews.

The Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Bashar Daraghmeh welcomed the cooperation with Palestinian Education for Employment. He expressed his thanks to the institution for their efforts and services in order to raise with the Palestinian youth so they could be able to shape their future and aspirations.

Daraghmeh also added to the graduates: “I hope that the Palestinian youth is able to seek alternative employment opportunities to overcome the rising unemployment rates and to think more seriously about entrepreneurial projects through creating small companies capable of operating and opening new horizons to serve the national economy."

Mr. Saro Nakshian the Director General of Palestinian Education for Employment, praised the importance of the partnership between his organization and Arab American University, explaining that the institution was able to provide this training with the support of Al Waleed Humanitarian Foundation. This training is a part of the institution’s programs that works on improving student’s skills for job searching and increase their chances of finding jobs after graduation.

Nakshian explained that this training is a part of series activities previously carried out with the University, explaining that the institution is working on the implementation of an ambitious plan to enrich the experiences of graduates and enhance their abilities.
