Jawwal Company, in cooperation with the university Alumni Affairs, held a recruitment exam for a group of graduates who are applying for a job at the company’s offered program for new graduates entitled “Go professional”, at the campus computer labs.

Mr. Belal Al-Ashqar Head of Alumni Affairs Department welcomed Jawwal representatives stressed the University's readiness to devote all of its resources to service graduates and facilitate their entry to the labor market. Appreciating the unique relation between the University and Jawwal Company.

In the training we discussed the most important step to determine whether he/she deserves the job, focusing on the importance of leaving positive impression during the job interview to ensure the job.

Alumni Affairs Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs hosted Mr. Faleh Abu Arra Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs in a specialized workshop on “How to make a professional interview”, within the training program “Skills for Job Search” by Said Abu Moalla in presence of dozens of upcoming graduates from various faculties and specializations.

Part of the training

Alumni Affairs Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs concluded a training program for its graduates entitled “Strategic Planning” with participation of 22 graduates in the 40 hours training within eight sessions. The training presented by Muhanad Abu Deqer aims to develop the participants' personal competencies and strategic planning skills through clarifying and explaining the strategic planning concept and importance in the institutions’ management.

Students Ali Swahra and Abdel Salam Mansour from the Faculty of Engineering and IT participated in the workshop held by Palestine Trade Center (PalTrade) in Jericho, titled “Youth role of in Building Knowledge-Based Economy” for two days, with participation of many students and representatives of Palestinian universities. Aiming to enhance the universities students’ knowledge and direct them to develop graduation projects that address our priorities as Palestinians.

In pictures: Concluding the training held by the university Alumni Affairs Department in cooperation with INJAZ Palestine, entitled “My Path to Professionalism”. A total of 23 students participated in the four-day training. It was presented by trainers Osama Al-Sa’di and Bilal Al-Ashqar, they discussed several topics most importantly; time management, oral and written communicates, solving problems, team-building, preparing CVs and job interviews.
