010610087 MEDICAL ENGLISH VII ( 1 Crd.Hrs )

Pre-Requisites : 010610086

Medical English VII aims to equip future doctors with the skills necessary to communicate effectively with patients. The course goes step-by-step through the first parts of a typical consultation: receiving the patient, presenting complaints, past medical history, social history, and examinations and procedures. While doing this, the course seeks to cultivate a holistic approach to medical care in which the doctor treats the patient as a whole (physical, emotional, and social) person. Additionally, the course aims to improve students’ English fluency with practice in the four skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) as well as in vocabulary and grammar.
