020734900 GRADUATION PROJECT ( 3 Crd.Hrs )

Pre-Requisites : 020734320, 020733401

This course is a one-semester team project intended to build and manage a prototype information system to address a problem presented by a corporate client, faculty member, or self-generated by the students themselves, mostly presented by the instructor. Students are organized into teams to cover both the business and technical aspects of the problem. Students interview client personnel and potential systems users, conduct market research, transform client needs into a requirements document, and develop a system design model for both database and business processes. The student would experience the first three stages of the system development life cycle. The first stage will be the planning with a business plan as an outcome. The students would move to analysis and would provide at the end of this stage a requirement determination. After that, students have to model the database and processes and provide documents including those modeling diagrams.
