This course familiarizes the students of human rights, types of human rights, and a brief history of the related documents which embody the most basic human rights. It also examines the types of freedom including the freedom of belonging and loyalty, the freedom of candidacy, the right to hold public offices and the freedom of the individual. This further includes the right for protection (self, relatives, descent, and properties). The course also examines the right to justice and equality and their relevant application between Sharia and law.
