This course aims to introduce students to the fundamental principles of patient rehabilitation. Students will discuss the professional relationships and responsibilities of occupational therapists towards their clients and patient populations. Students will explore and analyze areas of human occupation, work, play and activities of daily living. Theoretical models of occupational therapy practice will be discussed in relation to specific case-studies.
