The primary purpose of this course is to study most of the important theories and their applications in occupational therapy. Specifically, students will learn how the concepts and researches of these theories evolve, develop, and/or incorporate with knowledge from other fields. A new perspective of perceiving and understanding occupation will be developed. This course aims to provide students with theoretical and practical study of the process of evaluation, adaptation, clinical reasoning and problem solving techniques.
