This course is a continuation of Therapeutics & Clinical Pharmacy 1. It will enable the student to continue to apply knowledge and develop skills needed by a pharmacist to provide patient care, using a systematic patient-care process to define and achieve the goals of optimizing safe, effective pharmacotherapy. In addition, it aims to provide the students with the knowledge of clinical uses, pharmacokinetics, clinically significant side effects & drug interactions and contraindications to medications used in the treatment of the selected disorders. This course aims to provide students with the knowledge of clinical manifestations, complications, goals of pharmacotherapy and patient education of selected metabolic, cardiovascular, renal, endocrine and infectious diseases.
