This course is designed for students majoring in Allied Health or Dentistry and includes: Motion in one and two dimensions, effect of gravity on humans, circular motion, physiological effects of acceleration, sensory perception, Newton's laws of motion, Statics and equilibrium, work, energy and power, scaling laws of physiology, elastic properties of materials, strength of artificial limps, bones and teeth, vibrations and their effect on humans,thermodynamics and human metabolism, non-viscous fluids, role of gravity in circulation, electric forces, direct currents and circuits, electrical safety and nerve conduction, magnetism and magnetic imaging, wave motion, wave properties of light and optics, radioactivity.
