In this course, research will be conducted on the following: the history of science and technology and its impact on world civilizations, the definition of science and technology, the logic of scientific discoveries, the basic truth and rules in the growth of scientific knowledge, the deductive method in the face of the inductive method, scientific-technological laws, scientific theories towards a practical theoretical philosophy, and the role of Arabs in building scientific knowledge. This course includes a study of the nature of mathematics, the historical development of some fields in mathematics, and the role of Arabs in developing mathematics.
