This course is an introduction to the theoretical and practical questions of morality, ethics and social responsibility in business and the general process of ethical decision-making. Topics covered include recognizing and analyzing ethical issues in business, promoting ethical behavior in corporations and institutions, the social responsibilities of business and ethics in the global economy. The objective of this course is to provide students with an understanding of ethical issues in business, and to provide students with a framework to guide analysis and decisions. Students will learn how to analyze and explore the ethical dimensions of business decisions, how to apply ethical principles and theories to contemporary business issues and how to develop and manage an ethical organization.
