151056070 ADVANCED CELL BIOLOGY ( 3 Crd.Hrs )

This course includes detailed description and discussion on the molecular structure and function of various cell components, their significance in cell survival and differentiation. Cell division and the cell cycle control will be discussed in details at the molecular level. Cell membranes and cytoskeleton components including microtubules, intermediate filaments and microfilaments structure and role in cell survival will be thoroughly discussed. The course will also include detailed discussion on critical processes that are essential for cell survival including cell signaling mechanisms, cell-cell interaction, cell differentiation and apoptosis
