The course seeks to respond to a changing employment market and to the changing requirements of the construction industry. Its aim is to give students a broad yet rigorous grounding in the fundamentals of organizing and managing construction project. This course discusses the reality of construction activities which have a long-lasting effect on the environment therefore sustainable and environmentally sound construction methods and innovative management practices are needed. The course aims to deepen the understanding of our climate as a dynamic system, and of the natural and anthropogenic drivers of climate change. Thus the impact of climate change on infrastructural design and resource management will be outlined in order to design more robust policies, plans and programs for these areas.
