This course explores the use of social media for strategic communication and campaigns. Topics covered include the role of social media in organizations, research in social media, strategic planning for social media, strategic writing for social media, audience segmentation and analysis, creating, managing and curating social media content as well as the creation and evaluation of social media campaigns. Special emphasis will be placed on how the different applications of social media and future trends in social media.
