This course covers the studying of the concept of electronic commerce, its characteristics, advantages and types, and the legal problems that it raises. The course also focuses on concluding the electronic contract (offer and acceptance, consumer protection, the duty to inform and enlightenment, the right of recourse, combating arbitrary conditions), its implementation (means of implementation, defense and their problems), and studying certain types of electronic contracts, such as auction contracts, and service provision contracts. Lastly, the course covers to the role of electronic documents, of all kinds, as evidence in civil and commercial matters in accordance with the Palestinian Evidence Law and comparative laws, with reference to the role of electronic authentication bodies.
