152026040 ADVANCED STUDIES IN INTERNATIONAL LAW ( 3 Crd.Hrs )

This course seeks to provide a comprehensive view and understanding of public international law as a branch of law, in terms of providing expanded definitions of general international law and what distinguishes it from other branches of law, and an in depth understanding of the sources on which it is based and the most prominent branches it includes, with a focus on a group of these branches and mechanisms of its legal system. The course also seeks to understand the most prominent problems that prevent or limit the application of the rules of international law. In addition, the course aims to study important topics such as problems of international criminal responsibility for entities and individuals, the individual's position in general international law and the right of people to self-determination.
