This course focuses on the importance of shedding light on the foreign relations and diplomatic work of the major powers in the current international system, and knowing the tools of influence and political action in light of an international system that has begun to tend to multipolarity and the decline of the international role of the United States of America. It is known that political and economic diplomacy has begun to take the place of traditional wars, especially between powerful states, due to the intertwining of economic interests and the tremendous development in military technology. From this point, the student will be able through this course, to become familiar with the general features of the foreign policies of some major powers, including but not limited to: America, Russia, China, the European Union, India, Brazil and South Africa.
