Topics include sampling, descriptive statistics, probability distributions, confidence intervals, hypotheses testing, regression and curve fitting, design of experiments, and use of statistical software. Consideration is given to practical issues in data collection, presentation, and analysis, as well as drawing conclusions based on data.
