This course introduces abroad spectrum of topics related to information technology to fresh students. The course covers basic concepts related to how computers work and how they perform different kinds of data processing using different types of data storage. Topics such as numbering systems, computer software, hardware (inputs, outputs, and peripherals), programming, and algorithms will be described. The course will also explain computer networks, and how the internet is used.
