This course provides an overview of telecommunications and computer networking concepts, network design, and management concepts. In addition this course introduces networking topologies, layers (OSI & TCP/IP models), hardware (equipment) and software (Network Operating Systems), protocols, and TCP/IP related topics. Also, this course introduces basic technical and non-technical networking knowledge, which helps students to work in the computer-networking field.
