Dr. Ahmad Sadqa- AAUP VP for Planning and Development and Dr. Ma’moun AlHelo- Al Isteqlal University President Assistant to Planning, Development and Quality had a meeting to discuss means of cooperation and experience mobility between both universities.
AAUP and AL Istiqlal University Seek Joint Cooperation
During the visit to AAUP that a delegation from Al Istiqlal University did, Dr. Sadaqa- VP for Planning and Development talked about the university and its academic plans, and explained how AAUP always seeks to enhance the joint academic cooperation and relations with local and international universities. Dr. Sadaqa talked also about how AAUP provides new specializations that meet the needs of the labor market, and asserted that AAUP is ready to start a joint cooperation with Al Istiqlal University that includes many aspects such as joint training courses.
Parties discussed during the meeting the possible ways to enhance collaboration and mobility, and the experience that AAUP went through to get the ISO certificate. Moreover, they discussed the strategic plan of the university and the projects that are funded from outside parties and the evaluation of the faculty members.
