Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the University President and Mr. Imad Hindi- the Chairman of the Board of Directors of INJAZ Palestine signed an MoU to enhance collaboration between the two parties and implement training and activities programs for students.
The signing for the MoU took place in Ramallah Campus with the presence of Dr. Yousef Asfour the Founding Chairman of the Board of Directors and Ms. Rania Qutainyeh- the General Director of Injaz.
According to this MoU, students will be trained, their abilities will be developed and their knowledge broadened to prepare them to be pioneers of the future by the continuous training and encouraging in educational and economic fields. The program will be trained by volunteers from the different private sector companies and the civil society aiming to qualify students to enter the business world. This training is divided into three sections: business leadership, financial knowledge and preparation to work. One of the main programs is “the student company program” that is implemented for the first time in Arab American University this year and it depends on the practical training to students and help them to discover themselves and their ambitions to be able to deal with the different opportunities in the labor market through establishing and managing pioneer companies.
Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the University President assured that this MoU is important to the university and appreciated the role of INJAZ in qualifying university students to the labor market. He clarified that AAUP is always keen to qualify its students by providing academic programs and extracurricular activities to be distinguish when joining the labor market.
Mr. Imad Hindi- the Chairman of the Board of Directors of INJAZ Palestine expressed his pride in this partnership and emphasized on the importance of supporting Palestinian youth and developing their pioneer skills to be part of the business world. He explained that the efforts will be focused to develop students’ capabilities in the different fields to create a better future for them and activate their role in the economic development.
Dr. Yousef Asfour- the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AAUP welcomed the guests and talked about the efforts of Arab American University in providing collaboration relations with the civil society organizations in order to serve students and community as well. Dr. Asfour also explained that AAUP focuses on three main goals including serving the local community and the partnership relations with the local and international organizations to serve students and the local community.
Ms. Rania Qutainyeh- the General Director of Injaz said: “INJAZ is proud of its partnership with Arab American University and consider it as an important step in supporting our youth and broadening and developing scientific and daily skills and spread the innovation and pioneer culture between students. In addition, the benefited students from all the training programs will be increased in accordance with the joint vision of the university in making positive change to our Palestinian youth”.
