The Faculty of Modern Media at the Arab American University has held a training course for journalists in the northern West Bank on digital security practices and journalistic work, in cooperation with the Al Jazeera Media Institute and Sada Social Center.

A group of journalists participated in the three-day training course, where the training topics covered raising awareness of the concept of digital security, training for the basic rules of digital security by presenting practices, procedures and advice, learning about supporting applications in digital security, and developing the experience of journalists in safe browsing on the Internet.

A group of journalist participants in the course confirmed that it was very important, and covered topics that added a lot of theoretical and practical knowledge to them, especially in digital security practices and safe browsing, as well as storing media materials in a safe manner.
