The Heart Center at the Arab American University has held a training course on non-systematic cardiopulmonary resuscitation, targeting the medical, nursing and midwifery staff working at the Saint Luke’s Hospital in Nablus, emphasizing the strengthening of cooperation between the University and the Hospital.
The training course was inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the University, Dr. Lubna Harazneh, with a speech in which she welcomed the attendees. She explained that this course came within a series of community activities carried out by the Faculty and the Heart Center, where many courses are organized in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid for local community institutions.
The Dean explained that the course, which targeted the staff of the Saint Luke’s Hospital Hospital for one day, focused on basic skills in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations, using the protocol approved by the American Heart Association.
