Aiming to provide students with the appropriate educational environment that will help in the progress of the educational and training process and the future development of the university, Arab American University and Musleh Contracting Company signed an agreement to start establishing a new medical and engineering laboratory building in Jenin Campus within international standards and specifications.
A design of the building that will be established
The VP for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Eng. Mustafa Musleh- the General Manager of Musleh Company signed the agreement with the attending of Eng. Bara’ Asfour- the Assistant to the President and Eng. Sulaiman Fuqaha- the Head of the Engineering and Maintenance Department in AAUP.
The new building will be 4 floors, each of 1800 m2 area, and a total area of 7200 m2. The basement floor will be for Prosthetics program students from the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, and the other three floors (the ground floor, the first floor and the second floor) will be for Engineering students and the total period of the project is expected to be finished within 8 months.
Designers asserted that they took into consideration _while designing the building_ the different aspects, the safety means and the modern engineering architecture shape as the building will be fully designed to provide the best atmosphere for students and staff in any season. Additionally, two elevators will ease the movement of students between floors, besides the highly international specifications and the smart systems that control lightings and other parts of the new building.
The VP for Administrative and Financial Affairs said that the university is keen to provide the most developed infrastructure to ensure the most convenient educational atmosphere in the new building that will serve the medical and engineering sectors in an area designed to comfort students and professors.
He added that AAUP always try to provide the best and most modern devices and tools for students to help them graduate with great skills and professional experience to meet the labor market needs.
