An AAUP delegation has visited the Jordanian Field Hospital in the city of Nablus with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties.
The University delegation included Dr. Laila Herzallah, Assistant to the President for Community Affairs, Dr. Hishan Zahran, Head of the Nursing Department, Dr. Ahmed Hadrab, Director of the Heart Center, and Dr. Fikri Samara, Head of the Medical Analysis Department. They were received by Colonel Sakher Al Abbadi and the hospital staff.
At the beginning of the meeting, Colonel Sakher Al Abbadi welcomed the University delegation and provided an explanation of the services provided by the field hospital. He also briefed them on the wards and clinics, stressing the importance of enhancing cooperation between the University and the hospital, emphasizing the Arab brotherhood between Jordan and Palestine.
For their part, the Arab American University delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation to the medical staff at the Jordanian field hospital for providing humanitarian and therapeutic services to the Palestinian people, appreciating the role of Jordan, its king and people, and their support for the Palestinian cause. They stressed the importance of these relations that enhance the partnership between the University and the hospital in all medical specialties, and touched on the mechanism for arranging future medical cooperation with the hospital and exchanging visits and various experiences due to the Jordanian team's high efficiency in the medical field.
