The Ph.D. researcher in the program of Educational Administration, Raed Awada, defended his dissertation which is entitled "A Proposed Model for Building a Creative Organizational Culture and Applying an Electronic Educational Space According to the Needs of the Twenty-First Century in Basic Schools of Jerusalem Governorate". The dissertation was supervised by Prof. Dr. Tayseer Abdullah, and Dr. Kamel Hashem.
The study sought to provide a highly efficient model for building a creative organizational culture and applying an electronic educational space according to the needs of the twenty-first century among the principals of basic schools in Jerusalem Governorate, in addition to reveal whether there are differences in building a creative organizational culture and applying an electronic educational space according to several variables.
The problem statement of the study is resembled in the existence of limited understanding and awareness among school administrations in building a creative organizational culture capable of keeping pace with the rapid technological development in order to achieve the desired educational objectives, in addition to the lack of a flexible electronic educational space that encourages development according to the needs of the twenty-first century in basic schools in Jerusalem Governorate as well as the lack of school environments for visual or auditory stimuli that takes into account the individual differences of students in the basic stage.
The study concluded that there are positive attitudes by school administrations towards developing a creative organizational culture that employs modern technology. The study also indicated that the electronic educational space contributes to the sharing of creative ideas effectively. The researcher recommended that there is a need to adopt and approve binding educational strategies and policies with a clear vision and consistent with the goals to be achieved to build a creative organizational culture. The researcher also recommended the application of an electronic educational space that is capable of keeping pace with the development in basic schools, in addition to designing qualifying courses for teachers according to their skills and abilities, in addition to conducting follow-ups for the sake of developing e-learning, as well as developing the infrastructure of the Internet and electronic platforms.
