A delegation from the Academy of Fine Arts Verona – Italy, Prof. Francesco Runzon the Program Director at the Academy, and Martha Ferretti Projects and International Relations Director visited AAUP campus at Ramallah to complete the preparations of launching the Bachelor Program in Interior Architecture.

Prof. Waleed Deeb, AAUP Academic Advisor and Mr. Fathi Amour PR Manager welcomed the delegation. this visit aims to introduce the delegation to AAUP campus at Ramallah and its teaching facilities. furthermore, to organize the teaching process and coordinate with the faculty staff from the Academy that will be teaching this program.
Prof. Runzon said that “this visit will be for 7 days as we will be exploring the nature of Interior Architecture in Palestine to connect it with the teaching process by a survey of the needs, reality and the cultural life of Palestine.
as he added that they will meet with the students during their visit, pointing out that this program aims to graduate students that are skilled and gave the needed experience to connect architecture to interior designs of the buildings in each site they will work after graduation, and be able to create their own unique touch that is to reflect on the aesthetic buildings internally.
from his part Prof. Waleed Deeb expressed his happiness of this visit and assured that students will be able to know more about the learning plan, faculty members, and practical training that will be held in the Academy in Italy once the students of this program meet with the delegation.
Prof. Waleed pointed out the importance of this program for the future opportunities of its students since it’s the first program in interior architecture in Palestine, where Palestine lacks of professionals of this field. The program will be taught with high international teaching methods by international experts, academic, and artists.
