Discussing Master Thesis in Commercial Law Entitled “Trademark’s Illegal Competition Lawsuit”

Maryam Jaradat, AAUP Commercial Law Master Student, discussed her master thesis entitled “Trademark’s Illegal competition lawsuit”.

The researcher analyzed trademark’s illegal competition using Analytical method then compared West Bank’s laws in force especially commercial law No. 33 of 1953 with illegal competition and Jordanian Industrial secrets law No. 15 of 2000 and Jordanian amended Trademark Law along with bunch of related laws.

She emphasized on the importance of having Palestinian independent law as soon as possible to organize the illegal competition in West Bank. Also to set modern law for trademarks to cope with commercial and industrial developments in developed countries and in consistent with the information revolution.

Finally, the committee of Dr. Tariq Kameel Head of Committee, Internal Examiner from AAUP Dr. Yousef Shandi and External Examiner from Najah University Dr. Ghassan Khaled decided to give Maryam Jaradat Master Degree.
