The Acting President of Arab American University Dr. Nizam Diab welcomed a delegation from Germany, where the delegation visited the university in order to enhance the collaboration with Bielefeld University.
The delegation included representatives of the Bielefeld Middle East Initiative, doctors, academics and parents of students from schools and universities, and the joint coordinator of Al-Zababdeh Municipality Eng. Dawud Shaheen, and PR Manager of Al-Zababdeh Municipality Mr. Rami Deabis.
Dr. Diab welcomed the guest delegation and gave an introductory presentation about the university, its faculties and academic programs offered by the doctorate, master's and bachelor's degrees, as well as the services provided by the university to students, academics, researchers and the local community. pointing out the relations and cooperation with European universities specially Bielefeld University as he mentioned that the majority of the university academics hold degrees from American and European universities.
The German delegation expressed thier admiration for the university and its academic programs as well as the services provided, especially to the local community.
The two sides also discussed the ways of cooperation with Bielefeld University. The delegation took a toured around the university.
