Dr. Laila Ghannam the Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh opened the Royal Gym at Arab American University Campus – Ramallah. With the attendance of the Governor of the Palestinian Monetary Authority Mr. Azzam Al-Shawa, AAUP Chairman of BOD Dr. Yousef Asfour, Academic Advisor Prof. Waleed DeebProf, Board Member Mr. Baha Asfour, AAUP President Assistant Eng. Bara Asfour, and university staff and athletes.
Grand Opening of Royal Gym at Arab American University Campus – Ramallah
The attendees were introduced to the latest equipment and devices at the gym, in addition to the services offered by the gym for those who wish to participate and use its facilities.
Dr. Ghannam said: "that Arab American University is a typical university in its unique academic programs, and added value to its students and local community by focusing on establishing international facilities to enhance student’s skills such as the sports facilities and Half-Olympic swimming pool at Jenin campus. As she added “that toady we are here for the opening of Royal Gym at Ramallah campus which will add to the university students in Ramallah in particular and Ramallah in general.
Dr. Ghannam highly encourages sports and athletes for two reasons, the first for a healthier body and mind, second it’s a civilizing mission and a way for branding Palestine during the participation in international sports events.
