The Arab American University and Cisco Academy organize three training courses, entitled “Training of Trainers,” where ten employees from the university joined the training that was held at Al-Quds University campus – Abu Deis with the trainer Eng. Ehab Attya from Al-Quds University.
From the training
The training courses are; basics of computer IT Essentials course, computer network management CCNA1, and CCNA2.
The AAUJ President’s Assistant for IT Affairs Mr. Bahjat Al-Aiasa noted that the training courses had several objectives, including activating the Cisco Academy at the Arab American University, offer training to students and the local community in the fields which the trainers are trained in; IT-essential, CCNA1, CCNA2, then give the students Cisco certificates. This will help in training the students of the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the university on these practical courses through their faculty instructors.
He explained, the university would continue to work with Cisco in cooperation with the Al-Quds University – Abu Deis to train in the future in other Cisco courses such as CCNA3 and CCNA4.
The President of the Arab American University Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zahri thanked Al-Quds University for holding the training in its campus. Stressing the importance of cooperation between Palestinian universities in joint scientific researches and training courses.
