The Venezuelan Ambassador to the State of Palestine Visits the University in Ramallah to Discusses Ways of Joint Cooperation

The Ambassador of Venezuela to the state of Palestine Mr. Maher Taha visited the University campus in Ramallah and was introduced to its academic programs in master's and doctorate degrees, as the both sides discussed ways of joint cooperation.

The Venezuelan Ambassador was welcomed by the chairman of boards of Directors Dr. Yusuf Asfour, the University's President Prof. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri, the Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies Dr. Abdul Rahman Abu Libdeh, and the Vice President for International Relations Dr. Dalal Erekat.

The two sides discussed ways of academic and research cooperation, exchanging experiences, student and visits with Venezuelan universities. As Ambassador took a tour at the campus and its facilities, its laboratories, and listened to a detailed explanation about the university's mission and vision for developing higher education, by offering unique programs, and its interest in international partnerships at regional and international levels.

The Ambassador expressed his admiration for Arab American University and its distinguished academic level and its efforts to promote higher education in Palestine.
