ماجستير في إدارة المشاريع

Overview

The program of project management is designed to equip the holders of this degree with the needed skills to produce a clear plan and a process from the beginning to the end. The students will learn about different approaches to project management, standards, structures, processes, frameworks and project portfolio management.

Project Management experts are able to continuously work under the pressure of a deadline to produce valuable results for an organization, business or corporation, often supervising a team of professionals working on the project. Graduates from a Master in Project Management have a number of career paths to choose from, with a high level of job placement. In addition to foundational Management courses, Master in Project Management students will learn about specialized approaches to project management, processes, standards, structures, frameworks and project portfolio management.

 

Goals

  • Develop the student’s awareness of the role of project management in organizations and an understanding of the tools and techniques used in project management.
  • Enable the student to apply quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to manage projects and programs in an organization.
  • Develop the student’s ability to utilize project management techniques to support organizational strategy, development and change.
  • Provide the student with the skills to address project management challenges and opportunities in an organization and the ability to propose project management strategies that improve organizational performance.
  • Strengthen the student’s ability to apply communication and leadership skills for effective project management.
  • Equip students with the knowledge to make ethical choices and decisions in their role as a project manager.

  1. Examine current strategies and technologies in project management and assess the impact of project management on the performance of an organization.
  2. Develop skills in managing the resources, cost and scheduling of projects and apply quantitative techniques for risk and quality management of projects.
  3. Demonstrate an understanding of the role of the project manager and project management in organization change.
  4. Create and implement project management processes, evaluate project performance and risk and make business decisions to align project management with an organization’s strategic goals.
  5. Exhibit communication and collaboration skills in project management, including ability to communicate with stakeholders about project requirements.
  6. Demonstrate the leadership and management skills to manage project initiatives and engage employees in the process.
  7. Exhibit an appreciation of the ethical obligations and reporting responsibilities of project managers.
