My academic interests revolve around contemporary Palestinian and Diasporic literature, with particular focus on Mahmoud Darwish’s poetics of exile and dispossession, and the prose works of Mourid Barghouthi. I write creatively in my free time, and have recently completed an autobiographical novel, ‘The Failed Narcissist’. I am currently writing my second novel, ‘The Expectation of a Flower’.
