Biography:
Nizam Diab is an associate professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Arab American University-Palestine where he has been a faculty member since 2003.
He completed his Ph.D. at Ruhr University-Bochum/ Germany, his Master at the Middle East Technical University- Turkey, and his undergraduate studies at Yarmouk University- Jordan. His areas of interest and research are in the electrochemistry, and his main research focused on the development of electrochemical sensors for medical applications. He has contributed to more than forty publications in international journals/conference proceedings.

Using scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) to measure the activity of the single living cell.
Improvement of some analytical techniques to enhance their sensitivity and selectivity.
