Biography:
Samer Abueid is an Assistant-Professor in the Sports Science faculty at the Arab American University of Palestine, where he has been a faculty member since 2014. He was the Head of the Sports Science Department from 2016-2017. Samer completed his PhD at Jordan University and his undergraduate studies at Al Yarmuk University. His research interests lie in Kinesiology and Biomechanics, ranging from theory to design to implementation. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of Allied Health science, particularly Physiotherapy on problems at the Musculoskeletal Biomechanical Gait Evaluation (The effects of unilateral backpack carriage on gait biomechanics and back pain in Puberty), also, Nursing on problems at the profession related Hazards (the effect of Blood Flow Restriction). Samer is the instructor for courses: Clinical-Kinesiology, Performance-Kinesiology and Mechanics, Biomechanics, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Exercise Physiology on undergraduate topics.
Samer enjoyed hiking and bicycling, watching soccer leagues and listening to music. Now he usually manages to read one book a month.
