A Delegation from Verona Academy of Italy Visits the University to Discuss Enhancing Cooperation

The visiting delegation was received by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri, the Academic Advisor of the Board of Directors, the founding president of the university, Prof. Dr. Waleed Deeb, the Advisor of the Board of Directors for Planning and Development Affairs, Dr. Adli Saleh, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muayad AbuSaa, and the lecturer at Faculty of Modern Sciences, Mr. Mohammad Sabaaneh, and the Director of Public Relations, Mr. Fadi Jumaa.

The Verona Academy delegation included Martha Ferretti, External Relations and Grants Officer, Veronica Venerdem, Social Communications and Relationship Officer, Antonella Andriani, Professor at the Institute, and Elisa Carrara, an employee.

During the visit, the visiting delegation was provided with a detailed explanation about the university, its establishment, goals, and the diversity of its students, in addition to its faculties and academic programs taught at bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels, and the applied administrative work systems.

The visiting delegation was also briefed on the sports facilities at the university. The briefing included a detailed explanation from the director of sports facilities, Dr. Oday Daraghmeh, about the importance of these facilities to university sports, local sports, and hosting many Arab and Asian championships.

The Italian delegation visited the prosthetic limbs factory. The delegation was briefed on the working mechanisms in it by the head of the prosthetic limbs department, Dr. Mohammad Al-Sallaq. The delegation also met with students from the specialization and listened to them about the importance of the specialization and the reasons behind their choice to study it.
