University Hosts Independence Championship for Jenin Institutions Teams

Arab American University hosted the Independence Championship for 5-a-side football in which Jenin governorate institutions participated. It’s organized by Sports Federation for All under the auspices of the Higher Council for Youth and Sports, Fateh in Jenin Region, and Jenin’s Sports Committee.

This championship is part of the central championship for institutions held in all the West Bank governorates, coinciding with the commemoration of independence.

Eight teams participated in the championship representing national institutions in Jenin. They were divided into two groups, consisting of 4 teams, each group first and second teams qualify for semi-finals.

From the ministry of education championship in volleyball and table tennis

Arab American University closed gymnasium sports hall hosted the ministry of education championship in volleyball for male teachers and table tennis for female teachers, under the auspices of Minister Dr. Sabri Saidam with the participation of all Palestinian education directorates.

The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Education representative Sadiq Al-Khadour the Ministry Activities Director General, education directorates directors in Jenin, Qabatiya and Tubas, and heads of sports activities departments there.

Arab American University Honors its Volleyball and Athlete Teams for Winning Palestinian Universities Championship

Honoring the university’s participating team in the Palestinian Universities Females and Males Championships in 2016 and 2017

Arab American University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri honored the university’s team which participated in the Palestinian Universities Championship for males and females in 2016 and 2017, organized by the Palestinian Universities Sports Union. In presence of University President Assistant for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, Students Affairs Dean Dr. Abdullah Woulweel and Head of the Students Council Ali Kameel, the university Volleyball and Athlete Teams won first place.

University president Prof. Dr. Abu Zuhri expressed his pride with the team’s accomplishment in universities championship. Stressing, the administrative pays great attention to sports, always works to improve and provided sports village which will be complete soon once having a half-Olympic pool. Emphasizing, it’s important to support the AAUJ team in local and international championships.
