The Arab American University Holds a Medical Day in Tubas and the Northern Valley

The Arab American University has held a medical day in Tubas Governorate and the Northern Valley, as part of a campaign carried out by the University in the governorates, targeting the local community and their children.

 

The meeting was inaugurated by the Acting Governor of Tubas and the Northern Valley, Ahmed Al Asa’ad, who welcomed the attendees and appreciated the role of the Arab American University in this humanitarian initiative to serve citizens. Al Asa’ad also appreciated AAUP’s important role in the region, and its interest in the scientific process at all levels.

The Arab American University Holds a Meeting with the Directorate of Education in Jenin

A delegation from the Arab American University visited the Directorate of Education in Jenin. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Directorate of Education, Ms. Salam Al Taher, and the Director of Public Relations, Ms. Ola Zakarneh. This meeting came to discuss ways of cooperation and community partnership between AAUP and the Directorate of Education.

The University delegation included Dr. Laila Harzallah, Assistant to the President for Community Affairs, Professor Wesam Hannoun from the University Medical Rehabilitation Complex - Department of Occupational Therapy, and Ms. Rama Jouda, a specialist in speech, language and hearing therapy and diagnosis. Dr. Laila presented an overview of the departments of the University Medical Rehabilitation Complex and the services it provides to various age groups.

AAUP Concludes a Training Course for Local Government Employees

The Arab American University has held a training course for Local Government and authorities’ employees titled "Management and Strategic Planning in Response to Risks".  

 

Dr. Laila Herzallah, Assistant to the President of the University for Community Affairs, highlighted the AAUP's endeavors to provide the local community with competencies and experience, which in turn contribute to sustainable development and empower the employees with scientific and practical skills and capabilities. The training course was held following the University's visit to the Local Government in order to identify the needs of employees.
