Palestinian Capital Market Authority in partnership with International Finance Corporation (IFC), held a training course for students of Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Arab American University participating in corporate the governance competition for Palestinian universities.
During the workshop, students were divided into groups introduced to the competition rules, conditions, how to choose the preliminary study design, search for problems, find realistic and logical solutions, and projects submitting date.
Arab American University hosted the International Robotics Competition organized by Fikr Organization, in which more than 200 students participated from 22 schools from Jenin, Qabatiya, Tubas, Jericho, Tulkarem, Qalqiliya, Salfit and Nablus.
Fikr Organization General Manager and the International Robotics Competition representative in Palestine Mohanad Omarieh thanked the University for hosting the competition for the second year in a row, wishing that participating students take advantage of their achievements in scientific and practical life, their strategic plan, and relations surrounding them and contribute to raise Palestine’s name high.

Arab American University hosted the National Mental Calculations Competition organized by Iqra Intelligence Mental Account Academy (IMA) under the Ministry of Higher Education’s supervision. 150 child from various centers in West Bank participated, the competition coincided with another held in Gaza Strip where 500 Childs from Gaza’s Intelligence Mental Account centers.
AAUP Faculty of Science Dean & Head of Mathematics Department Dr. Abdul Halim Ziqan, General Director for Intelligence Mental Academy Dr. Mohammad Hamarsheh, Ministry of Higher Education Representative Dr. Jihad Nazzal, and Director of Iqra Intelligence Mental Calculations Academy in Jenin Dr. Rasha Hamarsheh and a number of center’s teachers and directors all attended the competition.
