AAUP Faculty of Medicine Receives a Delegation from the British Family Medicine Institute to Discuss Cooperation

A delegation from the British Family Medicine Institute visited the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University. The visit aims to discuss cooperation between the two parties and implement a group of medical programs.

The visiting delegation consisted of Paul Wallace, Thirsy Zink from the British Family Medicine Institute, and Maha Al-Khateeb, Director of Medical Aid Programs for the Palestinians. They were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Imad Dweikat, Deputy Dean, Dr. Omar Sadeq, Head of the Physiology and Pharmacology Department, Dr. Reham Nazzal, Head of the Department of Pathology and Pharmacology, Dr. Ramez Zaid, and Head of the Department of Anatomy and Embryology, Dr. Emad Abu Alrub.

The University President Receives an Academic and Student Delegation from Shenandoah University, USA

The Arab American University president, Prof. Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri, received an academic and student delegation from the American Shenandoah University, which is a partner in developing the use of advanced technology according to an agreement previously signed between the two parties.

The visiting delegation included Dr. Mohammad Obeid, Director of the Virtual and Supported Reality Program, Assistant Professor of Exercise Sciences and Fellow of the COIL Collaboration Program Dr. Bobby Hilliard, 360 Film Production Specialist Mr. Willi Graff, VR Development Specialist Mr. Wes Brown, the student Orion Tai, whose Bachelor of Virtual World Design, and the student John Olbrick, whose Bachelor of Virtual World Design.

A Delegation from Faculty of Medicine at the University of Exeter, UK, Visits the University

A delegation from Faculty of Medicine at the University of Exeter in Britain visited the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University, as part of the research project on rare and common genetic diseases in the Palestinian society.

The delegation included Professor Peter Terpeni, a clinical geneticist, Professor Andrew Crosby, a human genome scientist, and Dr. Emma Babel, a clinical geneticist and scientist in genomic medicine and medical director of (South West Genomic Laboratory Hub).

They were received by Dr. Imad Dwaikat, the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Reham Khalaf Nazzal, Head of the Organs Functions and Medications Unit at the University.
