AAUP Faculty of Medicine Receives a Delegation from the British Family Medicine Institute to Discuss Cooperation

A delegation from the British Family Medicine Institute visited the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University. The visit aims to discuss cooperation between the two parties and implement a group of medical programs.

The visiting delegation consisted of Paul Wallace, Thirsy Zink from the British Family Medicine Institute, and Maha Al-Khateeb, Director of Medical Aid Programs for the Palestinians. They were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Imad Dweikat, Deputy Dean, Dr. Omar Sadeq, Head of the Physiology and Pharmacology Department, Dr. Reham Nazzal, Head of the Department of Pathology and Pharmacology, Dr. Ramez Zaid, and Head of the Department of Anatomy and Embryology, Dr. Emad Abu Alrub.

The American Institute PAMA Visits the Faculty of Medicine at the University to Discuss Ways of Cooperation

Today, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University, Dr. Imad Dweikat, met the President of the American Institute PAMA, and Consultant Oncologist and Blood Doctor, Dr. Youssef Khalifa in the building of the Faculty of Medicine, at the university, in the presence of the head of the Microbiology and Immunology Unit in the Faculty, Dr. Iman Qoraan, the head of the Anatomy Unit in the Faculty, Dr. Bahaa Medlej, the Head of the Organ Functions and Medications Unit at the Faculty, Dr. Reham Nazzal, and the Head of the Pathology and Histology Unit, Dr.

The meeting focused on the extent of the Arab American University's great care in supporting medical students and empowering them in their field at various levels, in addition to strengthening their educational motivation, since the medical profession is a noble profession that contributes to saving lives. Achieving this aim requires great efforts from the academic staff on the one hand, and the relentless pursuit of bridging ways of cooperation with institutions concerned with the field of medicine worldwide in order to exchange experiences with them on the other.

Part of the meeting with the Turkish Cultural Attaché

Mr. Raha Armamjo- the Turkish Cultural Attaché in Palestine and Dr. Abdulqadir Staih- the Head of the Turkish Cultural Center in Ramallah visited Arab American University to discuss cultural collaboration and some joint interest issues, and to enhance the collaboration relations between AAUP and other Turkish universities and scientific and research centers.

Dr. Moyad Abu Saa- the VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Musdaq Barahmeh- the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Atef Qasrawi- the Physics Professor in AAUP and Dr. Fadi Jumaa- the Public Relations Manager were in their reception.
