The University Hosts The E-learning Expert Professor Michael Barbar

The Department of Educational Sciences on the campus of the Arab American University in Ramallah hosted the expert in the field of e-learning, the Canadian Professor Michael Barbar from Touro University California in the United States of America, to present an online lecture via Zoom platform for Ph.D students in educational administration, as part of the course “Integration of Technologies in Education" under the supervision of Dr. Hiba Abu Zayyad.

During the lecture, he examined the role of theory in e-learning at the basic, upper elementary, and secondary school stages). He also introduced students to the history of distance education, showing the responses of academic institutions to the emergency transformation toward e-learning during the Corona pandemic and beyond.

The E-Learning Center in AAUP Announces the Beginning of Work to Get NAACE Accreditation

The E-Learning Center in Arab American University announced the beginning of the work to get the NAACE accreditation under collaboration with Eummena which is an external consultant in this field.

NAACE is an organization among some other institutions that work in the field of education in the UK that works in developing the role of technology in education and putting some long-term plans for e-learning.

On the Occasion of its 20th Anniversary, AAUP Gifts some Laptops to a Group of its Honor-list Students

As a generous gesture, a group of businessmen from inside the green-line and the Suburb of University Real Estate Company in Jenin donated some laptops to Arab American University to be gifted to some of the honor-list students who face problems in the e-learning.

This was during a ceremony attended by Dr. Iyad Dalbah- the Assistant to the President for Community Affairs, the businessmen and the honored students.
