The student delegation participated in a training course titled “Basics of Media Documentation,” within the age group from 10 to 16 years, within the “Positive Youth Participation” project implemented by the Center in cooperation with the Jabal Al Nar Club.

The training course concluded with a field visit to the Department of Arabic Language and Media at the Arab American University to learn about the department, its educational outcomes as well as student training facilities.

The training course started with a small ceremony that was attended by Colonel Ahmad Baz- the Deputy Commander of Tubas Area, Dr. Musadaq Barahmeh- the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Mr. Fadi Jumaa- the Public Relations Manager in AAUP and Colonel Kamal Dwaikat- the Public Relations and Media Manager in Tubas leadership center.

In the opening session, Mr. Sudqi Mousa- Tawasol Project Coordinator in AAUP welcomed the participants and praised the role that PYALARA does in activating the youth role in the society.

Dr. Mosadaq Barahmeh- the Dean of the Faculty of Arts in AAUP emphasized on the importance of such courses and workshops, and asked students to participate as this will benefit them in blending in the labor market, and thus be distinguish and this is what Arab American University aspires that its students will be.
