AAUP Hosts the Director of Technology and Operations Department at Quds Bank in a Symposium Entitled: "Digital Transformation in the Banking Sector in Palestine"

The Faculty of Graduate Studies at the Arab American University in Ramallah hosted the director of Technology and Operations Department at Quds Bank, Mr. Zaid Jrab, to deliver a lecture on digital transformation in the banking sector in Palestine.

Mr. Jrab discussed the prospects, opportunities and challenges facing the banking sector in the digital transformation process, saying: "The importance of the digital transformation process in this sector lies in facilitating citizens' access to banking services, improving the operational process, completing banking transactions, and the payment and purchasing process quickly." AAUP Hosts the International Trainer Dr. Monther Al-Haram in a Training Workshop for Students on Human Development

The Arab American University hosted the international trainer, Dr. Monther Al-Haram, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Victoria Academy for Consulting and Training in Britain, in a two-day training workshop on human development, targeting university students. The workshop was organized in cooperation with the Ambassadors for Global Development Organization.

Dr. Monther Al-Haram, of Libyan origin, holds British citizenship, is an international trainer accredited by several international institutions, resides in Britain, and holds many positions, including head of the Arab and Islamic community in Nottingham, chairman of the Victorian Academy for Consulting and Training in Britain, and a member of the Academy’s board of directors of Ambassadors of global development for training and development. He trained in 48 countries.

AAUP Hosts the Japanese Professor Hidaki Shinoda the Director of the Peace-Building Center in Hiroshima

The Arab American University in Ramallah hosted the Japanese expert Professor Hidaki Shinoda - Director of the Peace-building Center in Hiroshima, and Professor at the Graduate School of International Studies at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in Japan.

Professor Shinoda stated that the aim behind visiting Palestinian universities is to meet students and researchers and shed light on the Japanese experience in development and reconstruction after its rise from the ashes of World War II and the mass destruction of weapons. During the lecture, which was attended by a number of graduate and undergraduate students and academics, Professor Shinoda reviewed Japan's experience in reconstruction, the nature of the internal challenges and the external pressures it faced.
